This is an honest non paid for non free item given review. I've been taking this brand of fish oils for the last 15+ years. I believe it is the reason why my bad cholesterol is and has been consistently low. I come from a family of bad heart problems and heart disease but so far I am good. I was taking Nordic Naturals Ultimate Omega 3. But since I've added a great multivitamin that has some omega 3's already in it. I decided to scale back and only take the normal strength dose of Nordic Naturals Fish Oils. I am still happy! EPA and DHA are also great for brain health! My family also suffers from dementia and alzheimers that's hereditary. But since I have been taking this for years. So far I also have no signs of brain disorders when I get yearly MRI's and MRA's done. When I had less money for a while. I tried the NOW brand of omega 3 fish oils. It was about half the price of this product. But on day 1 I noticed the worst fish taste just from swallowing the capsules, then later came the nasty fish burps! I have been spoiled by Nordic Naturals with their "great lemon taste!" And boy they meant it! Since I had only taken them for years I forgot about the "great lemon taste" and just thought fish oils without the lemon taste must not be so bad. So if you want the benefits of a great fish oil but cannot handle any kind of fish smell or taste. Then these are definitely for you! To me these are still worth what they cost because of their EPA and DHA alone. Most fish oils or omega 3s are just omega 3's, minus the EPA and DHA. I take these because of the EPA and DHA. 5 Stars!!!!
That's great you figured it out! Enjoy your pretty new shoes!
I researched and looked at the reviews of different brands of creatine on the store but I was overwhelmed with so many different brands that contain many different ingredients in addition to the creatine. The prices of those designer creatine were also much more expensive and since I am on a budget I wanted the cheapest product but of high quality, "more bang for my buck". I've used creatine over the years and it is a great supplement that improves your strength and muscle size if used correctly. Don't be fooled by the designer creatine that contains other ingredients that may not benefit you in your bodybuilding journey. Don't get me wrong. If it has an ingredient that you think will benefit you then by all means buy it, but if it's just creatine your looking for to increase your strength then this is the product for you. It's just creatine and nothing else. Take it the way it's suggested and you will see gains. I started with a loading phase for one week with 2 scoops (5mgs) in the morning and then 2 scoops (5mgs) after my workout. (I do my workouts in the evenings) I then kept a maintaining dose of 2 scoops (5mgs) each day after a workout or every morning if I wasn't working out that day. You don't have to do it this way but I researched the optimal way of taking creatine and starting with a loading phase was the consensus from most of the websites I looked at. After the 1st week of loading I started to feel some increase in strength and after the second week my strength went up substantially. I've been on it for about 6 weeks now and have increased my deadlift by about 15lbs, bench about 10 lbs, and squats about 10 lbs (my knees are a little messed up so I have to be careful with the weight.) For me, this was a significant improvement. If this doesn't seem like a significant amount of improvement to you, then I'm sorry to tell you that there is no "magic pill" that will instantly turn you into a bodybuilding god overnight. (There are but they are illegal) I will continue to take it after each workout and I'm sure I will see even more improvements in the coming months. It is recommended that you cycle creatine although some of the research I did said you don't have to. I guess if you feel the effects wearing off and no more strength gains, take a break from using it and start again after a few days. Also, keep in mind that a good diet and plenty of rest is also key to making gains so take that into consideration if you feel this product doesn't work for you. I'd used creatine in the past but had not seen gains but it was because of a poor diet and lack of rest. Remember, you don't have to break the bank for good supplements. I don't fall for all the gimmicky junk that's out there that is also usually expensive. Follow the KIS method: Keep It Simple!
