Great
just what it says in the description
I put this product through a basic lead chromium test by putting a capsule worth of product into a glass of lukewarm water without stirring. After 15 to 30 minutes we want to see the water remain clear and the turmeric to fall to the bottom. Cloudy water that is colored yellow is a sign that the product has been adulterated with lead chromate. This product passed that test. I have seen others fail. Lead chromium may be used in the polishing process to hide damage and enhance the color of the product. Lead is not safe to consume. Again, this tested ok for me in my home test. I am currently using a product that claims 1000mg of extract/950mg of curcuminoids. That has been verified in testing that Consumer Labs has performed. Bronson claims 150mg of root extract which seems low to me in comparison. Based on that I would say that the Bronson product may be a good product but not necessarily a great value considering the mg of root extract per service size. The capsules are smaller in the Bronson product so if you have an issue swallowing horse size pills, these will be easier for you to swallow. My other brand capsules are twice the size.
This turmeric is fairly potent, using 1350 mg of a 30:1 extract. Many supplements don't use a concentrated extract, so they are much weaker. This would be better though if I could get the equivalent dose in just 1 or 2 capsules instead of 3.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts on the turmeric! It's good to know it's potent, even if you wish the dosage was more concentrated.
